Hi! I'm [personal profile] azurelunatic, and I am hosting your code tour today. ([personal profile] zarhooie would have done this, but she was at an SJ Tucker concert.) I learned my lesson last code tour, when I did it all by hand, so [personal profile] fu very kindly ran [personal profile] foxfirefey's code tour template generator for me.

Thank you to all the developers, reviewers, designers, support people who helped with the bug reporting, [site community profile] dw_suggestions folks, plus other assorted volunteers and the ever-lovely Cheering Auxiliary for making this release possible.

This tour has 50 patches; today's release includes some from May 11th's code tour also. This tour features work from (in no exact precedence) [personal profile] fu, [personal profile] ninetydegrees, [personal profile] exor674, [personal profile] kareila, [personal profile] alierak (with bonus hardware-wrangling), [personal profile] foxfirefey, [personal profile] yvi, [staff profile] denise, [personal profile] allen (bringing the very excellent link-to-offsite-crossposts, in addition to last time's expand-cut-on-reading-page), and (returning developer from last year) [personal profile] kaisa, with bonus review action and coaching from [staff profile] mark. This also introduces new developers [profile] edgeraven and [personal profile] poulpette. (Now with corrected developer history status courtesy [staff profile] denise!) There are some special guest appearances from [livejournal.com profile] wisest_owl and colleagues at LiveJournal. [personal profile] dancing_serpent, [personal profile] sarken, and [profile] edgeraven have created some lovely new themes.

On to the patches! )

After the first week of our clean-up-the-little-stuff hackathon, we have made progress!

Bugzilla numbers as of this morning:

All open: 681 (down from 689)
All resolved: 1987 (up from 1948)

Considering that we've been opening new bugs as we've been working on eliminating the old ones, I think that's a great start to the month. Remember, this is Clean Up The Little Stuff month! Check the lists of unassigned effort-minor bugs and unassigned from-suggestions bugs, and see what you can do; or, help out our committers and do some code review. (Current needs-review count: 28!)

Our goal: Under 600 open bugs by June 30th. Go go go!

Personalized bugs-you-might-find-interesting lists, provided on offer (to tantalize you with something interesting you might've overlooked otherwise) with zero obligation (ie, just getting the list doesn't mean you have to work on them). If you're looking to branch out a bit, or are bored with everything you're working on, come let me give you a selection of stuff to choose from!
