So I had this idea, that people might like to get [site community profile] changelog summaries every so often instead of trying to keep up with everything as it comes in. (Me being one such people.)

Being the selfless DW volunteer I am, I decided to do the summarizing myself in my new community [community profile] changelog_digest. Hopefully other people will find this useful!

Let me know if you like it, or even if you don't!

Hi all, hope this is OK to post here.

As you might know, I've been digging around finding out as much as I can wrt DW and AO3, which are (as far as I know) the only two large, majority female open source projects in the world. I blogged about this for Ada Lovelace Day and the other day I put together a spreadsheet comparing DW and AO3 as software projects.

If you're female and are a DW developer, and have a few minutes to spare, I'd love it if you could
tell me your life story (or at least how you got involved in working on Dreamwidth). I'll be using this as background for further blog posts, perhaps presenting at open source conferences, etc. If you want to contact me privately and speak off the record, that's cool too.

Details are over on my journal, and I'm consolidating comments there, thanks.
