upgrading Bugzilla

FYI, I'm upgrading our Bugzilla install. It might be a little bumpy for the next hour or so while I work on it.

New version will be 3.7.2.

Update: Upgrade complete.

Thanks. Also, for anyone seeing this first after the upgrade was complete, as I did: side effects may include duplicate notification emails for past events, up to several days ago. (I got one for a bug dependency I added on 2010-07-18 18:41:01 UTC.)

I don't think mine were duplicates so much as emails that were never sent, that got flushed out with the upgrade.

Yeah, this. The upgrade process involves a sanity check which involves Bugzilla saying "hey, I didn't send 10 emails. weird. should I send them now?"

Weird.

I think something might trigger that sanity check at some point regularly, too, since sometimes I get emails that are delayed a few days when something else happens to the same bug.

Hmm, yeah. (In hindsight, I'm not sure whether I got that email originally, but I shouldn't have, because I have "don't notify me of changes I made" checked. so maybe by the time the sanity check was triggered, it forgo who made that change - or didn't pay attention.)
