It's time for another question thread!

The rules:

- You may ask any dev-related question you have in a comment. (It doesn't even need to be about Dreamwidth, although if it involves a language/library/framework/database Dreamwidth doesn't use, you will probably get answers pointing that out and suggesting a better place to ask.)
- You may also answer any question, using the guidelines given in To Answer, Or Not To Answer and in this comment thread.

Comment, not entry? (I know of it for entries, where it's called the draft feature and may have been cleanroom'd into Dreamwidth from a proprietary LiveJournal feature, but not for comments.)

I think I misspoke, and meant the draft feature. It's not something I remember LiveJournal being able to do, but that was long enough ago that I wouldn't swear to it. I was dazzled when Dreamwidth implemented it. Previously I'd been relying on a Firefox add on called Lazarus, I think, to save the day in the event of unexpected or undetected logouts, and it was only so-so at that. But what got rolled out here worked perfectly.
