Question thread #121
It's time for another question thread!
The rules:
- You may ask any dev-related question you have in a comment. (It doesn't even need to be about Dreamwidth, although if it involves a language/library/framework/database Dreamwidth doesn't use, you will probably get answers pointing that out and suggesting a better place to ask.)
- You may also answer any question, using the guidelines given in To Answer, Or Not To Answer and in this comment thread.

Ages and ages ago, Dreamwidth implemented a quality of life improvement that made the comment box remember what you were writing the last time you were logged in and offer to restore it the next time you logged in. I have no sense for how this piece of coding magic works, or even what it's supposed to be called, but I love it to pieces and would appreciate it if people could either tell me more about it or point me to where I can find out more for myself.

Thanks for letting me know what it's actually called!
