I'm trying to set up cross-posting from my Wordpress instance to DW. I have a plugin that sort-of worked that I modified to work with LJ, which I'm trying to modify to work with DW. So my first order of business is to make a really small client that can call the getchallenge method.

In order to do that, I got myself a PHP XML-RPC library and posted a call to https://www.dreamwidth.org -- but the response is the homepage -- so apparently the XML-RPC handler is not on there?
A very basic question that I do not see answered in any doc that I could find: what is the target of the XML-RPC posts for DW?

Though getting an error 'Denied access to method (getchallenge)' is puzzling. What am I doing wrong when that happens?

It's hard for anyone to say what you may be doing wrong when we don't know what you're doing at all. HTTP headers and body for the request and response (both suitably redacted) would help.

The methodName is LJ.XMLRPC.getchallenge, not getchallenge.

Image uploader in the post editor?

Hi!
I want to know is there any particular reason why DW image hosting has not been integrated into the post editor?
I would like to help with the implementation if it's not against an intention of the service management.

The reason why boils down to lack of resources.

I don't think The Management (TINM) would object. See this introduction to Dreamwidth development.
