Problem opening edited posts

Still slowly working on LogJam modifications for Dreamwidth, and I’ve found an oddity.  If I make a post with LogJam, then reload it and edit it and resave it with LogJam, all goes well.  But if I edit and save that post in the web interface, THEN try to re-open it and edit it further in LogJam, I get this:

It doesn’t seem to make a difference what changes I make.  If I edit the post in any way through the web interface, I can no longer reload it via Logjam.  What am I likely running into here?

Unfortunately I don't have the time to do this myself at the moment but things I would try if I did--

* Find another program with similar functionality and see if it errored out too
* Get the raw XML-RPC responses before the web saving and after, and compare to see what has changed

This looks like a /interface/flat not /interface/xmlrpc
I think LogJam is expecting things to be in a specific order or something.
