Design for Mobile Client:)
Hi everyone,
This is Sundaram.A doing my second year I.T in College of Engineering,Guindy,Chennai(Anna University). I'm not into social networking for a long time now. But Dreamwidth has really changed my perception of social media.I've started loving Dreamwidth.I've submitted my proposal for doing an iPhone client for the dreamwidth project. I've worked on a couple of interfaces which I've earlier submitted to Mark and denise. I would like you to comment on these designs. These are only tentative designs and I would like you to give suggestions on ways in which these can be improved. In addition,if you feel a particular feature is missing you can always let me know. As far as the posting is concerned,It's already working from my iPod Touch and I've posted a entry from my iPod Touch. I did make use of the SMTP feature rather than the LJ protocol. I've also started browsing through the LJProtocol and found it interesting. As far as the project is concerned,it would very important to have very good design more than anything. Also implementing most of the features could become difficult as interfaces could get clumsy.

iphone app
I far prefer DW and would be willing to pay for an iphone app for it if one was available. The LJ app isn't all that good since it won't let you read your friendslist, so hopefully anything that's developed won't be based on this model.
Please! An iphone app, please!
