The weekly dev pep talk!
* Today is Test Tuesday! If you're looking for something to hack on today, consider grabbing a test that's failing and fixing it so that it works again.
* Last week's resolved bug count was the lowest we've had in a while. I know a bunch of y'all are working on longer-term projects, but if you've got some spare time, why not grab one or two of the tiny bugs we've got kicking around and see if we can get those numbers up? (Or review a patch that's in the review queue so it can be committed!) I'd like to shoot for 50 bugs resolved FIXED this week, which I know is totally within our capability.
* We've got 158 bugs assigned with no patch right now, which is getting pretty high, and it's been hovering around there for a while. Let's also make it a week of cleaning up at least one of our old assigned bugs. If there's something you're stuck on, or you need somebody's help, post about it here or in
dw_dev_training, and I'm sure somebody will be happy to give you a hand. If it's something you've lost the oompf to do, set the status back to NEW and remove your name as the assignee (change it back to default) so somebody else can pick it up.
