GitHub Services going away

(aka, the thing that lets us do changelog posts and a few other things, like - I believe - the autoclaiming thing)

https://developer.github.com/changes/2018-04-25-github-services-deprecation/

What should replace it for us? Or should there be a bug for it?

h/t: the warning at the bottom of recent changelog entries.

My recollection is that the claim bot code already uses web hooks, but I don't know how the changelog posting was configured.

If the question is about how to deal with an adverse change in Github, would Bitbucket solve the problem? The book I used to learn git recommended Bitbucket over Github, but I'm not sure whether the book's reason for that would apply to Dreamwidth development.

I just joined this comm so please forgive me if I'm repeating something here. But does this mean that the Dream Hacks will no longer be valid? I'm starting to do some research into website development. A neighbor wants me to be the co-owner of a cooking business which he is starting up, and one thing he wants me to do is create a website. I chose Dreamwidth as a possible platform for our site, because I love it here.
