Attempting to organise a Dreamwidth volunteer weekend!

Hello folk!

I would quite like some encouragement to host another Dreamwidth volunteer weekend. I am arbitrarily choosing March in the hopes that I will have got my current energy levels slightly more sorted out by then. As usual, I am offering to host (in North London, step-free access, Skyping/IRCing in welcome & encouraged). ERGO:

Oh right crashspace availability -- we've got a sofa that can sleep five if there are two friendly pairs and one small person, plus an airbed, plus a campbed, plus a double sofabed, plus a lot of floor space. Hosting, provided you don't mind being in the living room-slash-kitchen, and probably sharing with other people, is Not A Problem.

PARKING

There is unrestricted parking immediately outside the flat, which is usually fairly full but you might get lucky. There is more unrestricted parking in nearby sideroads a short walk away. There is a bay directly outside the front door that we're normally parked in, but me_and can move the car if another blue badge holder would benefit from the space.

There's a really good chance Sarah and I will be in the UK in the first two weeks of April if any of that would work better...

ISTR you smoke, and house rules include no smoking, no wearing clothes that have been smoked in since they were last washed, and please do a really thorough hair wash before visiting if you've smoked or hung around chatting with smokers. If that's not going to be a problem, then kaberett and I can look at calendars this evening and work out if any of those weekends would be feasible for us.

Might I suggest some other form of UK dw-meet for while you are here, that does not involve the home of a smoke-allergic person? :-) (That is, obviously, if you and Sarah want and are able to spend your time here in such a manner)

Access information, mostly copy-pasted from a previous thing at the flat:

Catering details are TBD, but please let us know if you have specific preferences or requirements and we'll do our best to accommodate them. The kitchen is not nut- or gluten-free. Any food we provide will be vegan by default, with actively glutinous and egg/dairy options. The flat has entirely level (ramped) access with a 92cm wide door, or there is a wider entrance over the patio that has steps. It's not possible to get a wheelchair into the bathroom unless you fold it and then engage in some serious wrangling. There will be a dedicated quiet room.

Standard house rule: no smoking; no wearing clothes that have been smoked in since they were last washed; please get anyone who's smoked or hung around chatting to smokers to do a really thorough hair-wash in advance. Please be careful about wearing strong scents.

I'll gladly IRC in, but the awake part of my cycle is mostly late-afternoon to 6-7am these days, which may limit my availability when most everyone else is awake.
