The rules:

- You may ask any dev-related question you have in a comment. (It doesn't even need to be about Dreamwidth, although if it involves a language/library/framework/database Dreamwidth doesn't use, you will probably get answers pointing that out and suggesting a better place to ask.)

What has everyone on the DW team been up to? There hasn't been a DW News since last December 1, 2015. You haven't abandoned us, have you? We miss you. Maybe someone could post once a month just so we know you're still breathing?

Do you read dw_maintenance? There's been a code push and several "hey, something's broken and we're fixing it" posts since then.

We save news posts for when there's significant news, because every news post triggers hundreds of thousands of email notifications (slowing down ll the rest of the email) and we don't want to do that lightly.

The entries denise is referring to are public, so being subscribed is all you need to read them, I think.

I wonder how I missed it. Or maybe I read it but I don't remember. Not a lot goes on in my stream. Most of my friends have disappeared in the past few months.

The datacenter where the Dreamhack box is hosted will be taking the machine offline for up to an hour on the morning of April 28, sometime between 1AM and 6AM EST, for datacenter maintenance.

I'll try to remember to post a reminder closer to the date, but if I don't, somebody either poke me or post the reminder!
