April irc dev meeting
The Doodle poll has spoken, and the time that works for the most people unfortunately doesn't work for
mark, so we'll be using the second-most-popular time:
Saturday 28 April 9PM EDT - 11PM EDT (1AM GMT - 3AM GMT)
My apologies to those of you in EU timezones; our next meeting will be scheduled to be more convenient for y'all!
The meeting will begin precisely at 9PM EDT in irc (irc.freenode.net, channel #dreamwidth-dev) and will definitely run for at least two hours (if discussion is going well, we may continue a little past the 11PM end time). The meeting will be logged and logs will be publicly posted (lightly edited) to
dw_dev afterwards.
If you have anything in particular you'd like to put on the agenda for discussion, leave a comment. Otherwise, the agenda will be "let's all talk about awesome things we are doing".

Edit: the thing I want to discuss is any issues people have been having with the current development environment (social...not technical) and if we can make some improvements to make development work better for people.
I also want to put on the agenda, if there is time:
* Scrapping all existing APIs in favor of a modern, RESTful, JSON based API. (Note: we'd keep the old ones for backwards compatibility for a while, but cease improving them.)
* Discuss possibly moving our development to GitHub. (Probably not our Bugzilla, but maybe also bug tracking?)
Uh, probably other things. I need to have made a list when I was thinking about this, not just wing it...

Alternately, after the initial discussion is posted, you can join in where it's posted, start a new post, or do some non-group discussion on IRC (i.e., just flag me down and I'm happy to chat if I'm free).
This meeting is not designed to be the "one true place for discussion". It's more of a "let's get people together and chat" kind of thing.

(Just re-read the original post - mea culpa, I didn't see the check-first-col info)
