Ok, I actually got a bit further, I had messed up a parameter in DW::External::Site. So now it appears to work, but nothing actually gets posted to Scribbld. I did a test with cross-posting to LiveJournal and that does work...

Is there any place I can look (either on Scribbld or my DW install) to see if something isn't going through properly?
