I'm implementing a new-ish client (just something I can run from the FreeBSD command line, which is where I live), but still using the "Flat" interface. It's easy to parse. SSL broke the perl-based one I've used for the last many years.

Do you think this is a waste of time? I don't think this interface is going away any time soon, and the XMLRPC one is more complicated.
