1.3 Laptop: fine. Tablet, phone: I'm not seeing the rightwards motion on laptop. Though also tablet and phone are always portrait unless I'm watching a video on fullscreen, and laptop is landscape. I had plenty of room on all the devices, though I'm surprised the tablet gave me a half-screen-width reply box like the laptop, instead of a full-screen-width reply box like the phone.
2.1 Fine on all devices.
2.2 Better on phone than dreamwidth.org is, actually, the font is large enough to be legible—weirdly, on laptop the font is a touch too large, and on tablet they're the same size…
2.3 I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be contemplating? On all three devices it's stripey, blocky, and ugly as hell.
2.4 I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be contemplating? They all look fine to me?
2.5 Didn't I just—
"Name beside" is best looking of the three from phone now, but it got less attractive on tablet. Not unattractive enough I prefer "Name above" or "Name below", though.
2.6 Laptop: Oh, so that's why I never switched to Lynx on dreamwidth.org. Tablet: —Wait is site style by device? Is that a thing on dreamwidth.org? Also why is it scrolling me horizontally when the entirety of the comment I'm replying to plus the entirety of the quick-reply box fits on my screen without horizontally scrolling first? I know it does because it did that after loading the quick-reply. Phone: The account settings page doesn't try to shrink or reflow the text in order to fit everything on my screen. Tropospherical Red has teeny font here, Lynx just makes me scroll horizontally. Shouldn't clicking from a ?style=site entry to one of its collapsed comments keep it on ?style=site instead of loading the page in the journal style?
3.1 It all works on all three devices, assuming the desired behavior on "select a different icon, but close the icon browser before confirming" is to stick with the previous icon. However: Laptop: Meta text with small images looks like it'll be impossible to look through with more than a few icons, though, since it's putting the keywords beside the icons instead of below, and therefore nothing is lining up in columns. Not that I'm sure it would columns the other ways, mind, five icons isn't apparently enough to see that. Tablet: Large images does not attempt to column, meta text or no. Small images without meta text, dunno since all five icons fit on one row; small images with meta text, they're in a single column. Phone: Small images without meta text doesn't attempt to column. With, again single column. Large images column fine both ways. I'm not sure if this is true on journal style and I just didn't quite see it or if I only thought I saw anything, but in Lynx style, it definitely horizontal scrolled to stick the left edge of the icon browser to the left edge of the screen. And then, of course, to go back into the icon browser, I have to scroll the other way!
