Issue 2329

It should be possible to disable this option for communities. It is very bad when a community member can impede discussion by banning a potential opponent. If such a member does not want to hear criticism, he should not write to public places. The community as a whole is interested in the free discussion of people with different, often opposing, views. The user should not have a ban right outside of his personal account, but if the developers believe that such a right should be, then the moderators should be given the opportunity to disable it for communities.

You have introduced a harmful option that demotivates the discussion, and is beneficial only to conformists who wish to live in the artificial world of like-minded people.

Please create an opportunity to disable this option in communities, and we will inform about it in the rules for members.
