We are staying at the Westin Portland. We have five rooms, one for 21 Jun - 27 Jun and four for 22 Jun - 27 Jun. (

For those who haven't done this with us before: the way this works is, the room is prepaid. I contact the hotel a few days in advance to give them the names of everyone who's going to be in the rooms (so you're on the booking) and put down the DW credit card for checkin. Sometimes the hotel's computer systems don't properly assign the card to all the rooms; if you're asked for a credit card upon checkin, you can either put your card down (and I'll change it to the DW card once

sarah and I arrive) or hold off on checking in until

sarah and I get there. (Which will, unfortunately, be around 10PM.

mark booked his own travel, so I don't know if he'll be getting in earlier with the other DW card.)

batrachian and

azurelunatic are driving themselves;

kareila and

momijizukamori will be flying in a day early. Everyone else is coming in between 7:15 and 9:35PM Monday night. Predictably, Sarah and I will be the last in.

When you arrive at PDX, go downstairs to the light rail (MAX) station and get the red line MAX to Pioneer Square North MAX station. It's a pretty cheap fare, something like $4. From there, it's a short walk to the hotel. (

momijizukamori, you're coming in past when the MAX runs; get a cab and we'll reimburse.)

Those of you who are not speaking at the conference have been registered for the conference. Everyone's badges will be available at the venue once we get there. Those of you who are speaking should have gotten an email prompting you to sign up for the conference -- please do so!
