I agree with this. I think "nuking your DH and reinstalling" should be for "I have broken everything so badly that it's easier to just delete everything and start over", and if the problem is "my github account is in some horrible state that i could fix via painstaking work but that would be annoying, but my actual hack is pretty much fine", we can provide a set of commands for them to do/steps for them to take that would fix it. (Which, yes, might involve deleting forks and reforking.)

I'd be really nervous about the dreamhack reinstall script nuking your GH fork and stuff. I can see a lot of situations where you wouldn't want that to happen.
