Can somebody sanity check me?

So, I've gotten into this weird situation on my hack. No matter what I do, my accounts are always Free accounts. I've tried:

* Buying them paid account time in the shop using points, theoretically successfully
* Running workers in case that's what sets it somehow
* Going into admin/capedit and manually setting flags, such as Premium Paid

All to no effect--the account remains free. Anybody replicating this or know what I am doing wrong?

I think this works for me in the sense that it gives the account the capacities of the account type I selected (such as the maximum number of icons set in config) but it doesn't change its account type.

What I do to change the account type is go to /admin/pay/.

I can't test the shop because I don't know how to make it work.

Is your 'hack running dw-free only, or free+nonfree?

Have you given yourself the payments:* priv, and are you using /admin/pay to apply paid time?

To get paid time working when you buy something from the shop, you need to have run bin/worker/paidstatus (I don't think it's part of the default etc/workers.conf)

However, on the hack, what I would suggest instead is using admin/pay to give paid time to your account. It does all the Right Things automatically.
