Yeah, I know the cost of travel will be prohibitive for people, and I wish we could pay the whole way for people! MAYBE NEXT YEAR.
If hotel + airfare does wind up being outside your budget range but only slightly: I will be attending the whole week, and Sarah can't come with me, so I'd be happy to share my room, no charge. Only caveat is that I am a smoker -- from a quick skim it doesn't look like there are any smoking rooms at the main conference accomodations, and I'm happy to go outside to smoke when sharing a room with a nonsmoker, but if you're really sensitive to cigarette smoke that might be a problem. (I'm sure there will be other people attending who'd like to share rooms if that's the case!)
