DW Codefest
Heads up for any dev folks in the Seattle area--I'm going to be hosting a DW Codefest at the Seattle Attic this Saturday from 10:30am-2:30pm PST. This is mostly for me to work on projects I keep putting off, but if anybody else happens to be in the Seattle area and wants to drop by and work with me or get advice, you are welcome! I will also be on IRC if anybody needs any virtual mentoring.

It's kind of fun to have a space where I can make a fancy pants meatspace event out of it, though, and I think one person at the makerspace is gonna come! Hopefully she got her Dreamhack application in with enough time to get it made by Saturday.

Maybe ping Sophie in irc if you see her just to be sure!

I keep going 'I should patch styles or work on style search' and then ending up on tumblr for four hours. IT'S A PROBLEM.

I can look sternly at you if you want ;)

I am imagining that now and trying to figure out how it makes me feel. Other than 'intimidated'.

I know that feeling! Sometimes you have to just let your brain recover for a while.

Tumblr is basically the devil in website form. I will reblog your pain.

It's like a gradual leech on free time, somehow more insiduious than Cracked because if you're on Cracked you know you've lost.

You can't just open your dash, then come back to it later because of the infinite scroll. The good part of Tumblr is that it gives me random-ass shit to send to D sometimes.
